Special Education Teacher: Life Skills/Inclusion Support
Bronte ISD is looking to hire a compassionate certified teacher that would be a part of our Special Education team for the 2026-2027 school year. This Special Education Teacher would serve students in Elementary Life Skills and would also provide inclusion supports in a variety of grade levels, up through 12th grade depending upon student needs. Applicant must possess a Bachelor's Degree & be certified as a Special Education teacher in the state of Texas.
Preferred experience in a life skills, behavior, or autism unit setting. District will provide professional development to enhance already learned skills. Person will have a case load for student IEP implementation. Candidate must be comfortable with personal care services, providing daily living support, i.e. toileting/diapering for students that need these services. Candidate also must be able to implement safety protocols and physical interventions as trained in district procedures, including de-escalation techniques and adaptation.
