Position: Elementary Custodian
We are seeking a full time custodian that will be tasked with the cleaning of classrooms and common areas, ultimately to promote a safe learning environment for students! Must enjoy working around kids. This is a year round position that includes summer cleaning responsibilities when school is not in session. Schedule for holidays would follow the school schedule! Position: Full-Time Maintenance/Groundskeeper for the district
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Maintenance & Groundskeeper to keep our school campus safe, clean, and well-maintained for our students and staff. This role handles everyday campus upkeep, landscaping, basic repairs, and occasional support for our custodial team.
Key Responsibilities

Campus Grounds: Lawn care, weeding, trimming, trash removal

General Maintenance: Perform minor repairs across school buildings, including drywall touch-ups, light painting, fixture replacement, and basic carpentry.

Basic Plumbing & Systems: Identify and fix minor plumbing issues (clogs, leaks, fixture installs) and perform basic troubleshooting on facilities equipment.

Custodial Support: Assist the custodial team during high-demand times, special event setups/breakdowns, or deep cleaning periods.

Safety & Upkeep: Regularly inspect grounds and facilities to identify and address safety hazards or needed repairs promptly.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

1–2+ years of experience in general maintenance, landscaping, or trades.

Basic working knowledge of plumbing, hand tools, and power equipment.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude around kids and staff.

Must pass a standard background check required for working on a school campus.
